The Girard High School Jazz Band is a school activity that brings entertainment to the community. The Jazz Band is compiled of members from the Girard Marching Band and people outside of the marching band. Instruments used include trumpet, guitar, drums, bass guitar, flute, and several others.

The Girard High School Jazz Band played numerous shows. The Jazz Band played at every home boys basketball game. They also played a special show at Fairhaven for the students and the parents. Girard High School has recognized them for their hard work and dedication to perfect their playlist for the audiences that they played for.
