Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome to Prospect Elementary School. It is with excitement and anticipation that we enter the 2022-2023
school year. Education is the key that unlocks the future. A firm foundation is of utmost importance. Knowledge is
one of the essential pillars for growth and development. Good study habits start in the elementary years, and will
help a student attain knowledge through their educational journey.

Character development is the other pillar. Being respectful, being responsible, being honest and kind to
others are traits that build character. These two pillars together create a firm foundation on which to build. Home and
school are two important essential pieces in the process. Together we can foster sound educational and character
traits so success for every child is achieved.

As we embark on the new school year we will see additions to our technology program, a supplemental
phonics program added, and a vertically aligned handwriting program implemented. We are looking forward to a new
beginning with a strong partnership between home and school to foster growth in our students.
